Solterra at Home is the only local agency that specializes in live in care. We always have a large pool of experienced and trained live in caregivers on call and ready to work.

What is a Live In Caregiver?

A Live In Caregiver:

• Lives in the client's home 24 hours a day.
• Generally works for 8 hours, rests for 8 hours, sleeps for 8 hours.
• Provides in home solutions for loved ones who may need 24 hour supervision and wants to stay in the comfort of their own home.
• Performs personal care, homemaking care, companion care, transportation and medication reminders, as listed in the hourly home care program.
• Can provide care for a temporary recovery from the hospital or can be part of a long term plan as a loved one needs more assistance in the home.

How do I set up Live In Care?

• We will set up a free in-home assessment. This allows us to put together a customized service plan and assess the personality of the client so we can make a perfect match from our large pool of live in caregivers.
• If care is needed 7 days a week, we will team together a Live In Care Team which will have two designated Live In Caregivers, sharing the case.
• Our Live In Care Team will be introduced to the family and the service plan will be refined and discussed to ensure every detail is planned - from what kind of oatmeal to fix in the morning to how to plan favorite activities in the afternoon to what kind of music may be needed at night to ensure a good night's rest. The plan is reviewed, implemented, and executed with the family to ensure only the very best home care in Englewood is delivered.
